Wage Investor (WI) is designed to inform individual investors about passive income options to achieve financial independence. Whether you are just starting out or well on your way to financial freedom WI is a knowledge base and community that encourages all investors to make informed investment decisions for long-term growth.
Wage Investor was created from the thought that there must be more people in a similar situation to me that are wanting to strive for financial freedom.
I want to build a community of like-minded people that are:

To share some background information about me, I invested in my education by studying a commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Finance and later going on to complete my Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA). I later joined as a Registered Tax Agent after working in the accounting services industry.
I have worked in the accounting field providing tax advice to high-wealth individuals and small to medium enterprises for over 6 years. I have always had a passion for investing in the sharemarket in particular generating long-term passive income. I first invested in shares over 10 years ago and slowly wanted to build passive income with the goal to reach financial independence.
WI follows a lifestyle choice of aggressively saving from wages and investing the additional funds into income-generating assets to achieve portfolio growth. Over time the passive income allows the effect of compounding to grow the capital asset value and returns to shareholders. The vision of WI is to build a community of like-minded investors who are willing to forgo short term gains for long term wealth. This platform encourages readers to share in an open discussion their wealth creation experiences, trials, and tribulations.
My mission is to continuously build financial knowledge, share my experiences, and educate others. I hope that I can share this journey with you so together, we can grow wealth through passive investments and reach our goal of financial independence.
